    Okay but like the teamwork award scene makes me so feral because the Captain hasn’t really been shown to work well in teams. He bosses people around, doesn’t listen to other’s ideas and even those who he’s in charge of don’t really have any respect for him

    But in Woodworm Men we actively see him learn and grow as a character. He actively tries helping out (finding the sticks) and doesn’t try to step in and command anyone, instead taking more of a backseat and letting Pat teach Alison (and he answers Pat’s questions)

    And Pat recognizes that! He praises him throughout the day and by the end he gives him a badge for his effort in working as a team. (and if you’re like me and headcanon autistic Cap then you know he’s probably not the best at interacting with people) A badge that is so important to him he places it with his other medals

    Let me reiterate that

    The man who has made war his entire personality for DECADES deems an imaginary badge EQUAL TO OR MORE IMPORTANT than his ACTUAL MILITARY BADGES THAT HE EARNED

    He could have easily just brushed off the whole thing as childish but NO!!! He felt VALUED and WANTED and LOVED and IT MEANS SO MUCH TO HIM and AOSHAJGSKAHSKSHSAJHSKSJLF

    Hey! Survey guy here :) firstly thank you so so much to everyone who have been taking it. Your kind comments have meant a lot and all of your responses have been really great!

    I’m making this post because today I noticed that I ran out of storage on Google (thanks Google for trying to make me pay for storage lol) and as a result it said I was no longer allowing responses. That has been fixed now, and I will always be leaving the survey up. If you’re one of those people who tried taking it today and got that message, I assure you it’s back up now and you can now take it.

    Hey! So I’ve done some Ghosts surveys which I’ll make fun statistical sheets soon and I was hoping that you guys might take them and spread them around to fellow ghosts fans :)

    I am a statistics nerd and would really appreciate it! I have multiple here that shouldn’t take too long each but of course I’m not expecting anyone to take them all at once. I’d love for as many people as possible to take them. It’s kind of just for fun butI’ve made it into a personal project.     I don't know if this was intentional or not, but at the end of The Thomas Thorne Affair, once the retelling of Thomas's death - or the spectacle as I like to call it - is over, all the ghosts leave for Julian’s talk (even Humphrey gets remembered) and Alison leaves for her reunion - just like everyone at Higham House left to go back inside once the duel had concluded.

    It's a painful parallel I never really noticed before. No one was with Thomas when he died and no one stayed with him or even asked him if he was okay when he relived his death again. They just leave.

    And say what you want about Thomas, but he deserves better than that.
